The country’s largest car maker Maruti Suzuki India has increased the prices of its vehicles across all models by up to Rs 9,000 to offset the rising input costs.

“We have undertaken a price hike across the models ranging between 0.2 per cent to 2.4 per cent,” a company official told PTI today.

It will translate into a minimum increase of Rs 1,100 and a maximum of Rs 9,000 depending on the model, the official added.

The details of price hike across different models could not be ascertained. The official said the price rise is with effect from April 4.
