Nestle India, which is in the process of getting Maggi noodles back on the shelves, has re-started production at three of its plants. A Nestle India spokesperson said that the company has resumed production at Nanjangud in Karnataka, Moga in Punjab and Bicholim in Goa.
The company was earlier manufacturing Maggi noodles at five plants in the country which included plants at Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. The company is engaging with authorities so it can start manufacturing in other locations also soon.
Nestle India will now need to send fresh samples for testing at three accredited laboratories as per the order of the Bombay High Court before it can start sales of Maggi Noodles.
The company had earlier said that it was aiming to bring back Maggi Noodles on the shelves by the end of the year.
