New MD for Provident Housing

Retired IAS officer Mr V. Madhu has joined Provident Housing Ltd as the company's Managing Director, according to a press release from the company.

Provident Housing Ltd is a wholly-owned subsidiary and the affordable housing arm of Bangalore-based real estate developers Puravankara Projects.

Mr Madhu comes with 33 years of service in the Government of Karnataka, and is well-known for his initiatives in the infrastructural development of the State. One of his prominent infrastructure projects include the Bangalore Metro, which is expected to start services soon.

Commenting on his joining the group company, Mr Jackbastian Nazareth, COO, Puravankara Projects, said, “His experience and expertise in this sector starting with the conceptualisation to land acquisition and organising the SPV will ensure we build on our core fundamental strengths and wide business portfolio of diverse activities and energize our future by scaling new heights of prosperity.”
