Japan’s Nissan Motor has introduced a new limited edition variant of its Micra X-Shift, based on the XL variant. The 750-unit edition marks Micra’s fifth anniversary in India. It also introduced a new variant of the Micra CVT automatic hatchback, which will now be available in a new XL variant. (CVT, or continuous variable technology, refers to the car’s automatic gear box.) This is positioned just below the top-of-the-line XV variant. The car is priced at ₹6.39,990 ex-showroom Delhi and ₹6,67,782 ex-showroom Mumbai. The Micra X-Shift will be available at no extra cost while the XV variant will continue to be sold at ₹7,04,600 (ex-showroom Delhi).
