The state-owned Iron ore mining major NMDC Ltd had produced 8.43 million tonnes of iron ore during July 2015 in Chhattisgarh and Karantaka and registered sales of 9.29 mt.
In a statement to the BSE, the company stated that the production in Chhattisgarh was 4.8 mt and Karnataka 3.63 mt,respectively. The sales volume was, however, higher from both the States with Chhattisgarh logging sales of 5.12 mt and Karnataka 4.17 mt.
NMDC stock was down by 2.52 per cent during the day’s trade quoting at Rs 100.40 due to weak first quarter earnings.
