NTPC Ltd has commissioned 200 MW out of 250 MW of Stage-I Ananthapuramu Ultra Mega Solar Power Project coming up in Andhra Pradesh.
The power generation major is implementing the country’s biggest solar park in the State which will have total installed solar power generation capacity of 1,000 MW (One Giga watt) when fully commissioned.
In a statement to the BSE, NTPC has informed that the 200 MW unit was synchronized on April 30. With this, the total capacity of non-conventional energy projects under the NTPC has gone up to 310 MW. The total commissioned capacity of NTPC and NTPC group has gone up to 40,212 MW and 47,178 MW respectively.
