Private FM operator Radio City today began its phase III expansion by launching a station in Kanpur — Radio City Kanpur 104.8 — taking its total to six stations in Uttar Pradesh.
“With the launch of Radio City Kanpur, we are excited to foray into the first leg of our Phase III journey and become the strongest radio network in UP covering 6 cities and 39 stations nationally,” Radio City Chief Executive Officer Abraham Thomas said in a statement.
“Kanpur being a significant market for Radio City, we are all geared up to redefine radio entertainment post carving our footprint in metropolitan and tier II cities,” Thomas added.
