Samsung India today launched a new range of medical equipment under ‘GEO’ brand.
“We are leveraging our strengths in technology and R&D to offer medical products that offer fast, easy and accurate diagnosis to both doctors and patients,” Samsung Electronics Vice-President, Health & Medical Equipment Business, Dinesh Lodha, said.
Samsung India would be marketing various products under the GEO brand including, XGEO for digital radiography, UGEO for ultrasound diagnostic system and LABGEO for in-vitro diagnostics, the company said in a statement.
“We are focusing on time engineering that enhances the efficiency of all products being used in hospitals and clinics,” Lodha said.
Samsung India had established Health and Medical Equipment division in 2012 and in March this year, the company had appointed Lodha to head the new division.
