Textile firm OCM India has appointed S.K. Singhal as the new Chief Executive Officer of the company.
The company, which is owned by US-based global private equity firm W L Ross, said Mr Singhal has joined OCM after a 30-year stint with leading textile firm Raymond.
“We are excited to have Singhal join us as CEO, as we look to enhance the value of OCM for all its stakeholders. Singhal’s experience in the worsted business is sure to take OCM to its next level,” the OCM India Director, Mr Wilbur Ross, said in a statement today.
Mr Singhal was heading the entire textile business of Raymond as President (Textiles), where he oversaw the expansion of the firm’s manufacturing facilities, the near doubling of the textile division’s topline, transition to SAP and expansion of retail networks, OCM India added.
