Norwegian fund Skagen Global Verdipapirfond has offloaded 0.68 per cent stake in Tata Motors DVR for more than Rs 100 crore through an open market transaction.
As per the bulk deals data available with NSE, the fund, a division of Skagen AS has sold 34.72 lakh shares of Tata Motors with differential voting rights amounting to 0.68 per cent.
The shares were offloaded at an average price of Rs 290.01, valuing the transaction at Rs 100.69 crore.
However, the buyer of the shares could not be immediately ascertained.
As on September 30, 2015, the fund held 2.27 per cent stake with differential voting rights in the company. With the deal the stake comes down to 1.59 per cent.
Shares of Tata Motors DVR today closed at Rs 289.90 on BSE, up 4.37 per cent from previous close.
