Tata Power Company has posted a 126 per cent increase in net profits for the quarter ended March 31 at ₹360 crore, against ₹159 crore in the year-ago period. Net revenue for the quarter stood at ₹9,333 crore (₹7,835 crore).
The company also announced a dividend of ₹1.30 on a share having face value of ₹1. At the closing of the market hours on the BSE, the stock was traded at ₹70.70, up 1.87 per cent from the previous closing price.
