VA Tech Wabag has reported a 31 per cent growth in net profit in the second of quarter of the current year as compared with the previous quarter driven by new projects and entry into new markets.
The company has reported a profit after tax of ₹25.71 crore (₹19.56 crore) on a total income of ₹777.60 crore (₹593.34 crore) for the quarter ended September 30, 2016.
Rajiv Mittal, MD, said in a press release, “the good order book that we have built over the last year has translated into good topline and bottom line growth through better execution by the team.”
