Exporters were active on Arabica Cherry and Robusta Parchment premium grades at the Indian Coffee Trade Association (ICTA) auction. According to auctioneer J Thomas & Company, domestic roasters and trade were less active on Arabica Plantation coffee grades.
Arabica Cherry and Robusta Cherry coffees got good enquiries from domestic roasters. A small quantity of Arabica Plantation A grade got sold at previous auction price . Arabica Cherry PB and AB grade price were higher by Rs 140 to Rs 300 a 50 kg bag compared with last week; C grade got sold at previous auction price levels.
Robusta Parchment AA and RKR price were higher by Rs 50 ; PB, AB and C grade sold at last weeks price level. Robusta Cherry PB and C grade price were higher by Rs 100-150 , AB grade sold at last week price levels.
Arabica Plantation and Arabica Cherry BBB grades got sold at Rs 6,250-8,200 and Rs 5,850-6,000 respectively; Robusta Parchment and Robusta Cherry BBB price were higher by Rs 50 to Rs 310 .
