Import duty hike lifts soya

Riding on import duty hike, majority of oils continued to trade higher with soya refined being quoted at ₹ 775-78 for 10 kg (₹748-50 last week), while soya solvent rose to ₹740-45 (₹715-20). Similarly, palm and cotton oils ruled at ₹778 (₹712-14) and ₹765-68 (₹730) respectively. On the other hand, groundnut oil ruled at ₹940-60 (₹920-40). Mustard seeds in the physical market today were quoted at ₹4,500-4,650 a quintal, while raida fetched ₹3,450. Plant deliveries for Jaipur line were at ₹4,190-95 a quintal.
