Kaveri Seed today reported consolidated net loss of Rs 47.52 crore for the quarter ended September 30, due to fall in income.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 33.52 crore in the year—ago period.
Total income declined to Rs 98.85 crore in the current quarter as against Rs 208.39 crore in the same period of the last fiscal.
In June this year, the RBI had allowed foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) to invest up to 49 per cent of Kaveri Seed’s equity base.
