Sugar prices at the Vashi wholesale market declined by ₹5-10 a quintal and ruled unchanged at naka and mill level on Friday. Continuous and sufficient supply from mills amid ease demand middle month kept volume very limited both at mill and market level. Majority of the mills kept their tenders open. Arrivals were at 55-56 truck loads and local dispatches, too, were at the same level. The Bombay Sugar Merchants Association spot rates: S-grade ₹3,172-3,212 and M-grade ₹3,226-3,326. Naka delivery rates: S-grade ₹3,150-3,200 and M-grade ₹3,200-3,225.
