Edible oils market witnessed a steady trend tracking thin volatility in futures markets amid slack demand. On the Bombay Commodity Exchange, groundnut oil declined by ₹5 while palmolein rose by ₹1 for 10 kg. Vikram Global Commodities (P) Ltd quoted ₹545 for Malaysian super palm June delivery. Liberty traded palmolein at ₹515 JNPT, super palmolein ₹543 and soyabean refined oil ₹605. Ruchi was quoting palmolein for ₹514 JNPT, soyabean refined oil ₹601, sunflower refined oil ₹701. Allana’s rates: palmolein ₹516, super palmolein ₹550, soyabean refined oil ₹603 and sunflower oil ₹705. In Saurashtra-Rajkot, groundnut oil Telia tin ruled steady at ₹1,510 and loose (10 kg) ₹975.
