Poultry production, breeding, and animal feed production player, Srinivasa Farms, has expanded the capacity of it soya manufacturing plant by 24 per cent.
"Crushing of seeds has gone up by 24 per cent to 1,50,000 tonnes in 2018-19," Chitturi Suresh, Vice-Chairman and Managing Director of Srinivasa Farms, said.
"Poultry production and consumption in the country is predicted to grow due to various factors such as shift in food habits, urbanisation, increasing awareness of balanced nutrition," he said.
