Spot rubber lost ground in tune with the global declines on Monday. RSS-4 weakened to ₹127 (128) a kg as quoted by the traders. The grade finished lower at ₹127.50 (128) and ₹124. 50 (125) respectively, according to the Rubber Board and the dealers.

In futures, November contracts slid to ₹124.74 (126.06), December to ₹123.96 (125.92) and January to ₹123.80 (127.05)on the NMCE. RSS-3 (spot) dropped to ₹105.59 (106.25) at Bangkok. November futures surrendered to ₹107.44 (111.07) on the TOCOM. Spot rubber rates (₹/kg): RSS-4: 127 (128); RSS-5: 124 (125); ISNR 20: 107 (108) and Latex (60% drc): 81.50 (82).
