The Union Cabinet on Wednesday approved the transfer of land belonging to the Indian Institute of Soil & Water Conservation to the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for extension and six-laning of the Ahmedabad-Vadodara Highway, according to the Press Information Bureau.
“The transfer will be made on payment of Rs 12.67 crore compensation,” said a PIB tweet.
