Public sector oil companies hiked the price of domestic cooking gas by ₹6 per 14.2 kg LPG cylinder on Tuesday. The price of non– subsidised commercial LPG was hiked by ₹22.5 per 19 kg LPG cylinder. This price will be applicable for a month from May 1. After the hike, a domestic LPG cylinder will cost the consumer ₹502 a cylinder in Delhi. The commercial cylinder will be sold by oil companies at nearly ₹730 a cylinder. The price of petrol and diesel was hiked by 5 paise a litre on Tuesday. Petrol sold in Delhi at ₹73.13 a litre while diesel was at ₹66.71 a litre.
