The Andhra Pradesh High Court has granted five-day custody of Kadapa MP Mr Y S Jaganmohan Reddy to the Central Bureau of Investigation in the illegal assets case on Saturday.
It had also dismissed an interim bail plea by Mr Reddy, the President of Y S R Congress Party, who pleaded that his arrest was illegal. The CBI should interrogate Mr Reddy during 10.30 to 5 pm everyday in the presence of his lawyers from Sunday, the court said.
Mr Reddy was arrested by the investigating agency on May 27 after three days of questioning. It had so far filed three chargesheets in the case.
