Three major freight loading zonal railways, all located in the east, are having new chief operations managers (COMs).
Mr B.K. Joshi has taken over as COM of South East Central Railway, Bilaspur, the largest freight-loading zonal railway of the Indian Railways.
Till recently, Mr Joshi was the Chief Freight Traffic Manager (CFTM) of East Coast Railway (ECoR), Bhubaneswar.
Mr G.D. Brhama, till recently Executive Director, Railway Board, has succeeded Mr Joshi in ECoR as CFTM.
Mr G.K. Mohanty has been appointed COM of South Eastern Railway (SER), Kolkata, the second largest freight-loading zonal railway. He is now CFTM of the same railway.
Mr P. Dansana now in Metro Rail, Kolkata, will succeed Mr Mohanty as CFTM, SER.
Mr Dipak Chhabra, currently the Chief Commercial Manager of East Central Railway (ECR), Hajipur, Patna, has been given the additional charge of COM of the same railway and he will hold both the posts concurrently, according to a spokesman for ECR.
Mr Mukul Marwah, now in the Western Railway, has been appointed COM of North Frontier Railway, it is learnt.
