The country’s latest regional airline, Air Pegasus will launch its flights from April 12. Air Pegasus Managing Director, Shyson Thomas, told newspersons that the first flight will be from Bengaluru to Hubli. The airline will also operate its flights to Thiruvananthapuram. The airline has taken on lease two ATRs (72-500) with 66 seats each from Dublin-based Elix Aviation Capital. By the end of the year, the airline will have a total of six ATRs. The parent, Décor Aviation Pvt Ltd, has invested about ₹40 crore out of ₹100 crore it has earmarked for this venture.
