Bangalore International Airport Limited’s (BIAL) year-end festivities begins with its annual festival ‘Season of Smiles’, at the Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru (BLR Airport).
The festival at BLR Airport begins today (December 15) and goes on till December 31. As part of the festival airport to hold During this period, the airport will be converted to a ‘Winter Wonderland’, welcoming travellers and guests with exciting shopping offers, music performances by various artists, interactive photo opportunities and eye-catching installations.
The BLR Airport, in collaboration with its stakeholders will don a bright and festive look that will set the stage for varied activities and performances, truly making the last month of the year merry. Festive touches include a life-size Christmas Tree and Santa Claus, interesting installations of Christmas characters and quirky photo-ops.
The celebrations will provide passengers visual treats this holiday season. BLR Airport will also offer passengers a wide variety of options in latest apparel, books, gifts and souvenirs. Through this specially curated event, the Airport aims to enhance passenger experience.

“During the seasonal peak we are expected to see over 75,000 passengers travel through the airport each day and this is our way of celebrating the year-end festivities with them while also spreading the festive cheer. Through this festival we want our travellers to take back fun memories of their travel experience at BLR Airport. We also welcome the City to join us in our celebrations at the kerb,” he added.
