Seven highway projects totalling a length of 967 km, with an estimated project cost of Rs 7,936 crore, are pending approval from the Public Private Partnership Appraisal Committee (PPPAC).
The financial bids for these projects can be invited only after the approval from the inter-ministerial project evaluation committee – PPPAC – is received.
“These projects will be considered after their appraisal by the Planning Commission and Department of Economic Affairs,” Mr Jitin Prasada, Minister of State, Road Transport and Highways, said in Lok Sabha.
