Regional airliner TruJet has announced that it has reached a crucial milestone of flying one lakh passengers so far within five months of commencing its operations on July 12, 2015.
Vankayalapati Umesh, Managing Director, Turbo Megha Airways, in a statement, said: “The response to our unique brand of service, including complimentary meals and last-mile connectivity, has been overwhelming. We are celebrating this achievement this whole month of December. As a part of those celebrations, we are going to announce winners of Rs one lakh cash every week from amongst the passengers who fly during December 14-31.”
As a growing airline focusing on under-served and unserved markets, TruJet recently added Goa to its network.
“We are adding aircraft to our fleet as 3rd and 4th aircraft are expected to join the fleet in next two months,” he said.
