The Reserve Bank has invited applications for the post of director of the National Institute of Bank Management (NIBM).
NIBM was established in 1969 by the Reserve Bank of India in consultation with the Government of India as an autonomous apex institution, with the mandate of playing a proactive role of think tank of the banking system.
The institute seeks a director who shall also be the Chief Executive Officer of the institute, RBI said in an advertisement.
The director enjoys the pay scales and other facilities at par with the directors of IIMs and IITs. The appointment will be for a three to five year term or till maximum age of 65 years, it said.
