The Association of Computing Machinery (ACM) India Council will be holding its two-day annual conference in Hyderabad from January 28.
Senior members from ACM, a global body of computer professionals and academicians, are expected to attend the event, which will deliberate on future trends and challenges before computing in India.
Mr P.J. Narayan, Co-Chair, ACM India, said the conference would bring together some of the world's best computing educators, researchers and professions for exchange of ideas and sharing of resources.
Significant contribution
“As India has contributed significantly in computer science, ACM aims to grow its presence in the country and create a large network of computer science and IT professionals,” he told mediapersons here on Tuesday.
Later, in March this year, a separate conference on Internet applications will be organised in Hyderabad, which will showcase some of the latest developments and achievements in this field.
