RS Software (India) Ltd reported a consolidated net profit Rs 6.9 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2011, a 164 per cent jump from the Rs 2.61 crore made during the corresponding period last fiscal.
During the quarter, its consolidated total income was Rs 53 crore, a 35 per cent increase over Rs 39 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal.
Income from US operations accounted for 92 per cent (Rs 48 crore) of the revenue during the quarter. During the year ended March 31 2011, the company's revenue has seen a 20 per cent increase – from Rs 165 crore to Rs 199 crore – over the previous fiscal.
It also reported a net profit of Rs 22.3 crore for the fiscal ended March 31, 2011. The board of directors has also proposed a dividend of 20 per cent for every equity share for the year ended March 31, 2011.
