IT-major Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has recruited 702 students from Thiagarajar College of Engineering (TCE) , during the campus interview for 2011-12.
According to a release from the college, the selection is a record, as last year 618 students got selected. The selection has been from Engineering, Science and Technology streams.
From the Under-graduate courses, out of 646 appearing for the interview, 575 got placed and from post-graduate courses, out of 194 appearing for the interview, 127 have got placement. A total of 70 experts from TCS conducted the recruitment process, the release added.
