ShepHertz, a start-up with bases in Delhi and Silicon Valley of the US, has received ₹9 crore ($1.5 million) in funding from Kae Capital, Sashi Reddi, Growx ventures, LetsVenture and India Quotient as well as existing investors Mumbai Angels and Blume Ventures. The four-year-old firm works in mobile-Backend-as-a-service space. Siddhartha Chandurkar Chief Executive officer and founder of ShepHertz, said the firm would utilise the funds to strengthen its sales and marketing activities in the US. After the funding, Sashi Reddi joined Sasha Mirchandani on the ShepHertz board.
