Technopark-based RM Education Solutions India (RMESI), a fully owned subsidiary of RM plc UK, has achieved the BS 25999 certification.
The certificate was awarded under UKAS accreditation following a rigorous audit by the British Standards Institution (BSI), a spokesperson for the company said.
This is an indicator of the strength of the business continuity management system that RMESI has put in place. This includes effective processes to minimise exposure during external disruptive events and covers all aspects of business including people, premises, assets and vendors.
The spokesperson quoted Mr Connell Viegas, Chief Executive Officer, as saying that the company has already achieved ISO 9001 for quality management; ISO 27001 for information security management; and ISO 20000 for IT service management.
