Mr Joe Nalkara, President, UST Global, inaugurated the new Shantiniketan facility, according to a company press release. Besides having operations in Bangalore, the US-based provider of information technology services is present in Chennai, Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram.
Mr Alexander Varghese, Country Head, UST Global, said that the availability of a large talent pool of experienced and fresh talent and being the favourite city to work in among the techies makes Bangalore an obvious location to be present in for UST Global.
The company is also building a new flagship campus in the Thiruvananthapuram Special Economic Zone, the first phase of which is expected to be completed soon. Once operational, Mr Varghese said in the release, this 3 million-sq.-ft campus shall be a major hub for offshore IT services offered by the organisation.
