UK-based start-up Logically on Wednesday launched its app platform with the same name to tackle fake news and the spread of misinformation. The start-up claims to use AI along with a human team to verify the credibility of information. Users can use the Logically app to share the URL of the news item they want to verify and the app will provide a list of claims made in that particular item. Logically’s Founder and CEO, Lyric Jain, claimed that most verification requests are tackled between 20 minutes and two hours of being reported.
