State-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) has entered into a partnership with Unlimit, a part of the Reliance ADA Group, to provide Internet of Things (IoT) solutions and services to enterprise customers across India.

Leveraging BSNL’s reach

Through this partnership, Unlimit will leverage BSNL’s pan-India wireless network footprint to provide solutions and services, which include managed connectivity, application enabling platform and device management, and advance analytics.

BSNL will cement its foothold in India’s IoT market.

“By combining our pan-India coverage, last-mile network access and bandwidth with Unlimit’s range of services, we will help enterprises accelerate the pace of their new innovations, and fast-track the digital transformation process.

“Together, we will help enterprises adopt IoT solutions, enabling them to be more competitive, disruptive and agile,” BSNL Chairman and Managing Director, Anupam Shrivastava said.

Rural connectivity

BSNL’s connectivity, especially in rural India, will help Unlimit penetrate India enterprise market.

The Reliance ADA Group will focus on industries such as automobile, digital manufacturing, transportation, logistics, public-sector enterprises and agriculture.

Partnership goals

“In today’s hyper-connected world, this partnership is imperative in maximising reach and innovation. We are confident that together with BSNL, we can create the right conditions for the industry at a rapid pace.

“With the addition of BSNL’s connectivity, we are further expanding our services and capabilities to help scale essential IoT projects in India and contribute significantly to the digitisation of rural society,” said Jürgen Hase, CEO, Unlimit.

Launched in 2016, Unlimit provides end-to-end IoT business solutions in India.
