A first of its kind exclusive job portal for the Chartered Accountants community will go live on September 1. Keki Mistry, Vice Chairman, HDFC is likely to launch the portal.
Developed by the CA Insitute, the portal CAjobs , will work as a one stop solution for the community job seekers and job providers, Dhiraj Kumar Khandelwal, Chairman, Committee for Members in Industry and Business (CMI&B), ICAI told BusinessLine here. The actual launch of this portal will happen on August 31 at Mumbai during the ‘CFO Forum’ event, Khandelwal said.
Organisations looking to employ CAs will have a big pool of chartered accountants to choose from, he said, adding that data on nearly 1.60 lakh CA Institute members in various industries would be uploaded in the portal. This site will also be beneficial to women members of the Institute as many of them could easily get openings for part-time jobs, Khandelwal added.
Initially, the access to the portal will be free. The Institute may levy a small fee from companies in the future, Khandelwal said.
