Cannot expect something "out of the box" from technology

What gadget/s do you use?

A MacBook Pro, an iPhone5, a BlackBerry Bold 3, Samsung Galaxy Tab 2, Bose MIE2 Earphones, a Portronics charger, Apple Time Capsule and iPod Touch.

What is your dream machine?

My own Gulfstream V jet.

What do you not like about technology?

It becomes analogous! What I mean here is, you cannot expect something out of the box from technology! It does what it is supposed to, not more, sometimes less, unlike the human intellect.

What do you like about technology?

I like the way it simplifies our lives and takes care of the extra flutter around us so that we get more time to do what we want to do / what we are supposed to do. In short, it really helps me to increase my efficiency.

Which apps are you adducted to?

I am addicted to WhatsApp, BBM, Highrise, Facebook, Car Tunes, GarageBand.

What’s the biggest tech disaster according to you?

Usage of technology for mass destruction, the execution of nuclear bombs, is what I feel is one of the biggest disasters.

What is the biggest tech success according to you?

I think the invention of the microprocessor was one of the biggest tech successes.

One instance where technology solved your problem.

Technology solves my problems every day. One instance I can remember is when I was on my way to the airport and I got a reminder from my cell phone about a client meeting I had scheduled on that day around a month ago. I rescheduled my flight to the last flight of the day and went for the meeting and later we successfully got the client. So, it was all thanks to my phone.
