Microsoft India launched Surface Book 2 and Surface Laptop here on Tuesday. While the Book 2 is priced between ₹1,37,999 and ₹2, 95,999, the laptop is priced between ₹86,999 and ₹2,33,999.
Speaking to media persons at the launch, Anant Maheshwari, President, Microsoft India, said the Surface is one of the fastest growing segments.
Microsoft Surface was first launched in 2012 and Surface products were launched in India few years later. According to Maheshwari, the consumer premium market picked up in the last couple of years and these launches are reflective of their growing demand in India.
Though he did not reveal India figures, Maheshwari said Surface is growing at the rate of 25 per cent globally year-on-year.
