DAI, a US-based firm that offers development services in areas such as energy, water and natural resources management, has signed an agreement with Sunera Technologies, Inc, which has operations in Chicago and Hyderabad.

Under the agreement, Sunera Tech will build the Global Services Centre for DAI, which will initially house 50 technology experts. It will operate the centre for about three years, after which DAI will have the option to acquire the centre.

“We have signed a build-own-operate-transfer (BOOT) agreement to launch the DAI Global Services Centre (GSC) in Hyderabad,” Ravi Reddy, President and Chief Executive Officer of Sunera Technologies, said here on Wednesday.

James Boomgard, President and CEO of DAI, was here in connection with the signing of the agreement between the two entities.

“The agreement also gives DAI an entry into India, the largest development market in the world, where they will create partnerships with government institutions and regional development organisations,” a company release said.
