Flytxt, big data number cruncher for telecom companies, has announced that its client, Vodacom Mozambique, has been shortlisted as a finalist in the ‘Best customer experience initiative’ category at Total Telecom’s Africa Awards 2015.
The winners of the award will be announced on May 26, a Flytxt spokesperson said here.
The award recognises outstanding performance and innovation from leading players in the telecom and the Internet of Things space.
Vodacom was nominated for rolling out innovative customer engagement programmes using Flytxt solutions which ‘enhanced customer experience through personalised and timely communication.’
It used a Flytxt solution to create deep insight into each subscriber and identify implicit subscriber intent in real-time from millions of contexts and interactions on the mobile device.
Vodacom was enabled to design timely, relevant and contextual offers, which uniquely addressed subscribers’ persona and needs.
In addition to improving customer satisfaction, the Flytxt solution is estimated to have made a two per cent incremental impact on Vodacom’s top line, says Abhay Doshi, Vice-President, product and marketing, Flytxt.
