Hinduja Global Solutions, the BPO arm of the Hinduja Group, saw a minimal 0.5 per cent growth in profit after tax in the third quarter of financial year 2012, compared with the previous quarter. While acquisitions made over the last few months have helped drive up profits, ramp up costs in various locations and higher interest costs impacted profits, according to the company.
The net profit for the quarter was Rs 28.17 crore against Rs 28.01 crore in the third quarter of 2011.The company posted revenues of Rs 457.6 crore (Rs 286 crore) for the quarter. The company added 20 new clients during the quarter.
