Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management – Kerala (IIITM-K) has invited applications for computer professionals and a linguist for an IT-sponsored project on Indian language machine translation for work of Malayalam-Tamil translation.
Aspirants for the post of senior computer scientist should have a masters in computer science with a minimum of three years' research experience in natural language processing and Web services with proficiency in Malayalam and Tamil.
Those applying for junior computer scientist should have a masters in computer science with proficiency in Malayalam and Tamil, while for a linguist should have a masters in linguistics, Malayalam or Tamil, with proficiency in the two languages and experience in computational linguistics. The appointment is for two years.
