Info Edge (India) Ltd, which runs portals such as Naukri, 99acres, Jeevansathi and Shiksha, has reported a net profit of ₹33.22 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2014, which is flat compared with ₹33.26 crore in the corresponding period last year.
The company’s revenue for the second quarter of this fiscal climbed 19.5 per cent to ₹147.56 crore compared with ₹123.56 crore in the same period last year
The company also announced changes to its board. Chintan Thakkar, Chief Financial Officer has been appointed as Additional Director to be designated ‘CFO & Whole Time Director’ with effect from October 16, 2014. Ashish Gupta, a non-executive Independent Director has resigned from the board but will continue to work with the company in an advisory role. Sharad Malik has been appointed as Additional Director.
The shares of the company were down 3.03 per cent at ₹848.95 at the BSE on Thursday.
