Infotech Enterprises Limited and the Dehradun-based University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) signed an agreement for collaboration in some subjects such as aerospace engineering, and geo informatics.
Mr B. Ashok Reddy, President (Global HR and Corporate Affairs) of Infotech, and Dr Parag Diwan Vice-Chancellor of UPES, have signed the agreement here on Monday.
“Through this agreement, the students of UPES would gain industrial exposure, internships and industrial visits to our facilities. They can get engaged in live projects at our firm. The faculty will also get industry orientation through practical training by our staffers,” Mr B V R Mohan Reddy, Chairman and Managing Director of Infotech, said here in a press release.
On its part, UPES will design certificate programmes and give training for Infotech engineers. The institute’s faculty will deliver guest lectures at Infotech.
Through its Campus Connect initiative, Infotech already entered into agreements with IIT (Hyderabad), JNTUs (Kakinada, Hyderabad) and some other engineering colleges in Hyderabad.
