Technology firm Intel will set up a development centre in Hyderabad. The proposed centre is expected to create 1,500 jobs “in the initial phases.” An Intel delegation, headed by its Country Head Nivruti Rai, held discussions with IT Minister KT Rama Rao here on Friday.
“The Minister briefed them about the Industrial Policy of Telangana and the infrastructure facilities available in the State capital,” a statement from the government said.
“Several meetings were held between the officials and Intel team, which culminated into setting up of the centre,” he said.The Intel team invited the Minister to attend the company’s 20th anniversary on November 15 in Bengaluru.
