Insurance software solutions provider, iNube, has adopted the Windows Azure platform for strengthening Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojana (RSBY) scheme.
Mr Vinod Iyer, Chief Executive Officer, iNube, said: “As the solution is offered on Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model, we estimate that customers will save in costs by avoiding investments in large, complex IT infrastructures.’’
RSBY was launched by the Ministry of Labour and Employment to provide health insurance coverage to below poverty level households from financial liabilities arising out of health shocks that involve hospitalisation.
