To enable start-ups and technology owners discuss, discover and collaborate to convert their innovative ideas into marketable products and services, ITI will host the first edition of ‘ICT & IoT Start-up Tech Expo 2018’ on September 1 and 2 at its Bengaluru plant.

More than 100 IoT, ICT and defence technology start-ups will participate in the Expo.

On the second day, the event will have the presence of Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Communications Manoj Sinha along with Aruna Sundararajan, Chairman, Telecom Commission and Secretary, Department of Telecom, and N Sivasailam, Special Secretary, Department of Telecom. The minister will also dedicate the latest telecom testing centre to the nation, on this occasion.

The Expo is focussed on opening up business opportunities through the ICT, IOT and defence technology-based solutions. It will also focus on standards, policies and regulations on 5G technology, solutions for IoT and Smart City, latest trends in Data security/centre/mining, technologies for Defence, telecom testing facilities that have the potential to transform business.
