IT firm Mahindra Satyam today said it has bagged an order from Qatar University for implementing IT software solution to manage its business processes.
The contract will be implemented over a nine-month period and will cover end-to-end implementation of IT solution, Mahindra Satyam said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
However, the company did not disclose the contract value.
The university faced key challenges in the automation and integration of various business functions, which acted as the main hindrance to increase productivity, the filing added.
“The implementation of Oracle’s comprehensive product suite will help us strengthen financial management and control, supply chain management, customer service and HR functionalities,” Qatar University IT Director Mr Saeed Rashid Al-Athba said.
