Matrix Partners India has invested in Alchemy Web Pvt Ltd, which provides restaurants with a platform to run their day-to-day operations, including ordering, online presence management and CRM, under the brand LimeTray. This is the first round of institutional funding in the company, whose other investors include Umang Kumar (CEO, Gaadi.com), Ankur Warikoo (Head-APAC, Groupon) and Ankur Singla (CEO, Akosha). The company has signed up over 200 restaurants mainly in the Delhi-NCR area.

IDFC Alternatives exits India Office Fund

IDFC Alternatives has announced a final exit from its proprietary India Office Fund with a 22 per cent internal rate of return. It had seeded the fund with investments in two office parks – Galaxy IT Park, Noida, and BlueRidge SEZ, Pune, acquired at an enterprise value of about ₹900 crore. The Fund has sold these assets to real estate funds managed by Blackstone.

Aspada commits ₹12 cr to Allfresh

Aspada Investment Company has made a commitment of about ₹12 crore to New Delhi-based Allfresh Supply Management Pvt Ltd. Allfresh operates across the entire fresh fruit value chain from farm extension services for small-hold farmers to managing the post-harvest controlled atmosphere supply chain in apple, citrus crops and other high value fruits. Allfresh will use the money to scale up in the branded fresh fruit segment and work with many more small hold producers and enable market linkages for their produce.

Ziffi.com raises ₹15 crore

Ziffi.com, which allows users to book appointments with doctors, salons and other health and wellness-related services, has raised ₹15 crore in Series A funding from Orios Venture Partners. Ziffi had earlier raised ₹5 crore from angel investors.

Qualcomm invests in Birds Eye

Birds Eye Systems, which offers traffic tracking systems under the Traffline brand, has secured an undisclosed amount in funding from Qualcomm Ventures. It will use the money for product development, marketing and expanding to other cities. The venture had got an undisclosed sum in Series A funding from Matrix Partners last year.
